Whatever the boats bring in

A short menu written each morning after the fish auction, a dining room that watches the tide, and a kitchen that believes restraint is a flavour.

The day boat decides the menu. We just try to keep up.

Twenty-six seats, one view

Linen, candlelight and the harbour doing its slow theatre outside. We seat two sittings an evening and never rush either — the table is yours for the night. Dogs allowed at the two window tables at lunch, because this is still Cornwall.

“Dinner here is the best argument I know for letting the sea write the menu.”

Evenings book out a week or two ahead — lunch is the quiet secret.
